Key Responsibilities

• Own the performance and optimization of Axios's subscription, registration, and paywall experiences.
• Lead ongoing experimentation across offers, messaging, templates, and access rules.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for the Piano platform.
• Establish conversion benchmarks, reporting, and scalable optimization processes.
• Design and execute experiments across landing pages to improve acquisition and conversion.
• Partner with Audience Insights to enhance first-party data collection and personalization.
• Optimize conversion experiences for SEO, GEO, and AI-driven traffic.
• Champion a culture of experimentation and document learnings across the organization.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in conversion rate optimization, growth marketing, or digital experience optimization.
• Proven success in improving conversion through A/B testing.
• Experience with subscription or digital media businesses.
• Strong analytical skills and experience with performance measurement.
• Hands-on experience with marketing technology platforms such as Segment or Braze.
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills.
