Senior Manager, Recruiting @Affirm

Overview

Affirm is reinventing credit to make it more honest and friendly, providing consumers the flexibility to buy now and pay later without any hidden fees or compounding interest. The Senior Manager, Technical Recruiting will lead recruiting across EMEA, guiding a high-performing team that helps Affirm attract exceptional Engineering talent and scale internationally.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of recruiters by setting clear expectations and fostering a high-performing, inclusive team culture.
• Own the recruiting strategy for EMEA, aligning regional hiring plans with business priorities.
• Partner with Technical and cross-functional leaders to translate hiring plans into scalable strategies.
• Influence stakeholders through recruiting data and market insights to inform hiring decisions.
• Use recruiting analytics to identify trends and drive continuous improvement in the hiring process.
• Collaborate with Talent Brand, Talent Operations, and other People teams to deliver a seamless hiring experience.
• Build trusted relationships with senior leaders through transparent communication and proactive talent advice.
• Identify opportunities to simplify and improve recruiting processes to increase candidate experience.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience leading full-cycle technical recruiting.
• 5+ years of experience leading and developing high-performing recruiting teams.
• Deep knowledge of the EMEA talent market, particularly in the UK, Poland, and Spain.
• Experience developing hiring strategies in new or emerging markets.
• Strong executive presence with the ability to build trusted partnerships with senior leaders.
• Strong analytical skills, using data and insights to shape hiring strategies.
• Proven ability to lead recruiting teams through organizational growth while maintaining performance.
