Overview
International Medical Corps is seeking a Senior Officer, Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) to implement the M&E work plan, enhance program quality, and support data collection, management, and analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the implementation of global monitoring and evaluation guidelines and ensure proper application of monitoring tools.
- Maintain indicator tracking tables and support database development.
- Organize and lead data collection activities and conduct regular field visits.
- Design monitoring tools to track project progress and identify implementation bottlenecks.
- Conduct periodic data quality audits and address data quality issues.
- Apply appropriate sampling techniques and use qualitative and quantitative research methods.
- Support the implementation of digital data collection systems using tools like Kobo Toolbox.
- Analyze quantitative and qualitative data and prepare reports and presentations.
- Contribute to evaluation design and coordinate field activities for evaluations.
- Provide training and mentoring to program staff on M&E concepts and data collection tools.
- Ensure monitoring systems consider the needs of vulnerable populations and support gender analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Social Sciences, Public Health, Statistics, International Development, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in monitoring and evaluation, epidemiology, public health, or health information management.
- Equivalent combinations of education and professional experience will be considered.
