Senior Platform Engineer, Infrastructure @Webflow

Overview

Webflow is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer, Infrastructure to build and manage foundational cloud and source control infrastructure. This remote position will focus on establishing corporate cloud foundations and delivery pipelines, distinct from product engineering workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain foundational shared services including VPCs, DNS, PKI, and secrets management.
• Own the cloud landing zone, ensuring multi-region connectivity and cost-efficient scaling.
• Build and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) pipelines using Terraform, Pulumi, or Ansible.
• Design self-service pathways for code hosting and deployments, ensuring safety through guardrails.
• Develop observability infrastructure for system health visibility.
• Partner with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) for platform reliability.
• Manage cloud vendor relationships and proactively address risk and cost issues.

Requirements

• 5+ years in platform, infrastructure, or cloud engineering.
• Hands-on experience with a major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Pulumi, or Ansible).
• Experience with GitOps-style delivery pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
• Knowledge of networking and security fundamentals.
• Familiarity with observability tools (e.g., Datadog, Prometheus).
• Experience in cloud cost management practices.
• Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
