Senior Product Manager, Catalog @Instacart

Overview

The role is for a Senior Product Manager in the Catalog team at Instacart, responsible for managing the product data infrastructure that enhances customer experience by providing accurate and trustworthy product information. The position involves collaborating with a team to drive strategy, governance, and operational excellence in catalog attributes.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end strategy and roadmap for catalog attributes, aligning cross-functional partners.
• Translate ambiguous problems into structured plans and drive execution from discovery through launch.
• Use data and customer insights to run experiments, understand root causes, and design solutions.
• Build strong relationships across various teams to ensure clarity and shared ownership of attribute quality.
• Establish processes for operational excellence including governance, quality dashboards, and postmortems.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product management experience, particularly in catalog, data platforms, or ML/AI products.
• Track record in setting strategy, prioritizing effectively, and delivering quality outcomes in dynamic environments.
• Demonstrated ability to use data for decision-making and navigating ambiguity.
• Exceptional communication skills and capability to build trust in high-stake environments.
