Senior Product Manager, Control Plane - Platform @Elastic

Overview

The role involves managing the product portfolio for the Control Plane team at Elastic, which focuses on Elastic Cloud's backend and orchestration products.

Key Responsibilities

• Define parts of the vision and roadmap for Elastic’s Control Plane team, emphasizing management, orchestration, and scaling capabilities.
• Collaborate with Engineering to prioritize tasks.
• Work with Sales & Marketing on go-to-market strategies, messaging, competitive analysis, and enablement.
• Gather market data, customer feedback, and usage information to develop product insights.

Requirements

• 4+ years of Product Management experience with technical products.
• Solid understanding of cloud technologies, distributed data stores, and developer-focused products.
• Proven track record of using AI to enhance decision-making and outcomes.
• Ability to collaborate across different functions and manage multiple projects based on priorities.
• Capacity to work autonomously and communicate effectively in a distributed team.
• Demonstrated empathy, transparency, and a good sense of humour.
