Senior Product Manager, Logs - Observability @Elastic

Overview

The role involves joining the Elastic Observability product team as a Senior Product Manager focused on logs and logs analytics capabilities. The position significantly impacts the success of the Observability product.

Key Responsibilities

• Evolving logs analytics capabilities, aligning with organizational strategy.
• Advancing the entire end-to-end lifecycle for logs collection, ingest, and management.
• Building features for modern Site Reliability Engineers (SRE), including integrating GenAI, automated SLO/SLI tracking, and intelligent alerting.
• Collaborating across teams, including Engineering, UX, and Design, to enhance application monitoring experiences.
• Working with Sales & Marketing on go-to-market strategies, messaging, and feature adoption.
• Tracking user engagement and feedback to inform product evolution.

Requirements

• 3+ years in product management or a closely related area.
• Technical experience in logs analytics.
• Knowledge of the Observability and performance monitoring domains.
• Ability to convert abstract problems into prioritized solutions from a customer perspective.
• Outstanding spoken and written communication skills.
• Passion for industry trends and competitive landscape.
• Experience in a remote, globally distributed environment is desired.
• Knowledge of AI is a plus.
