The company is looking for a Senior Product Security Engineer II to join their Security Engineering team, focusing on offensive security techniques for Instacart's products.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and conduct offensive security operations for products and internal tools.
• Deploy and operationalize various security tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security testing into the SDLC.
• Share knowledge and mentor team members, promoting continuous learning.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in Security Engineering or Penetration Testing.
• Experience in mobile app penetration testing, AI security testing, or cloud penetration testing.
• Experience with threat modeling, security assessments, and security architecture reviews.
• Ability to make data-driven decisions and prioritize initiatives.
• Strong self-management and organizational skills.
• In-depth knowledge of remediation techniques for application vulnerabilities.
• Proficient in creating detailed technical documents for cross-functional collaboration.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or related experience (preferred).
• Bug bounty research experience (preferred).

Benefits

Instacart offers highly market-competitive compensation, including a base pay range between $196,000 — $207,000 CAD, and additional benefits, including a new hire equity grant and annual refresh grants.

Location

Remote work is available for candidates located in Ontario, Alberta, British Columbia, or Nova Scotia.
