Overview

A leading Nigerian non-governmental organization is seeking a Public Health professional for a Senior Program Manager position in Abuja. This role involves leading the strategic implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of community-based health interventions.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the development of state annual work plans, budgets, activity schedules, and implementation strategies.
Conduct regular supervision visits to local government areas to assess programme progress, monitor implementation quality, and provide technical guidance.
Ensure effective delivery of health initiatives across targeted locations.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Public Health, Biological Sciences, Development Studies, or a related field.
Minimum of 7 to 10 years of progressive experience managing donor-funded programs within the health sector.
Strong knowledge of donor requirements and reporting standards.
Proven experience in public health programming, program management, and stakeholder engagement.
Experience working with international donors such as FCDO, USAID, END Fund, UNICEF, WHO, and the Global Fund is an advantage.
