Overview

Fivetran is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the SQL Server database connector team, focusing on improving performance, reliability, and analytical capabilities for the platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement features and performance improvements for scalable distributed data pipelines on the cloud.
• Advocate for core values and better engineering practices.
• Lead engineering-wide initiatives for key technologies and collaborate on cross-functional projects.
• Coach and mentor other software engineers, and participate in the hiring process.
• Review technical design documents and improve documentation and development processes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience in fast-paced environments.
• Proficient in an object-oriented programming language such as Java, Python, or C#.
• Experience developing data-processing systems and optimizing performance.
• Strong technical communication skills in English.
• Experience in cloud environments using AWS, GCP, or similar technologies.
