Overview

Affirm is reinventing credit to make it more honest and friendly. The Senior Software Engineer, Frontend (App Experience) role focuses on the Marketplace and App Experience domain, which drives user journeys across frontend surfaces including iOS, Android, and Web.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and deliver quarterly goals for the team, leading engineers to solve open-ended problems.
• Collaborate with product management, design & analytics in the product development lifecycle.
• Proactively identify and advocate for solutions to project, process, technology, or business issues.
• Create and monitor metrics to support team operations and availability.
• Foster a culture of quality and ownership by setting and improving code review standards.
• Develop talent by providing feedback and guidance within the team.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience developing and architecting web applications using React or Vue.
• Proficiency in Javascript/Typescript.
• Experience with multiple teams and driving horizontal initiatives with demonstrated leadership.
• Ability to deliver major features or system components with high-quality code.
• Experience with making significant changes in large codebases.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

This remote role is open only to candidates residing in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, or Saskatchewan.
