As a Senior Software Engineer on AI Labs & Foundations, you will design, build, and operate high-scale production systems that power ambitious AI experiences like Cart Assistant and voice AI interactions. Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate production AI-powered systems that impact how millions of customers shop.
• Build foundational systems for AI experiences, including infrastructure and voice AI pipelines.
• Integrate foundation models via APIs and open-source frameworks.
• Own projects end-to-end, focused on reliability, latency, and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to deliver AI features.
• Drive engineering excellence, including system design and technical leadership.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a senior software engineer with architectural oversight and production experience.
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML in production, including LLM-powered features.
• Experience with end-to-end service ownership, CI/CD, automated testing, and observability.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across disciplines.
• Proficiency in Golang, Python, or Typescript.
• Ability to leverage cutting-edge development tools.
