Senior Software Engineer - Integrations 3P - Platform @Elastic

Overview

Elastic is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Integrations Team, focusing on how Elastic integrates within the AI ecosystem. This role is pivotal in making Elastic easily accessible and usable within the tools that developers utilize.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and evolve the Elastic MCP server and its infrastructure, primarily using Go.
• Develop a platform for universal agent skills, including portable formats, authoring tools, and linting capabilities.
• Ensure the correctness of skills and tools through evaluations.
• Design integrations that enable Elastic within third-party AI ecosystems while collaborating with product teams and partners.
• Enhance the Elastic CLI to improve developer efficiency.
• Support libraries, tools, and integrations related to the Elastic Stack, working with various programming languages, including Go and Rust.
• Contribute product insights to shape development priorities.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on backend systems, services, or libraries.
• Proficiency in AI/ML frameworks with an understanding of LLMs, agents, and protocols like MCP.
• Experience with Go and familiarity with other programming languages.
• Knowledge of client-server networking, HTTP, and RESTful APIs.
• Strong product thinking and usability focus.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Willingness to work in a remote, distributed team.
