Elastic, the Search AI Company, enables businesses to harness their data at scale using the Elastic Search AI Platform. The Software Engineer II on the Security EDR Workflows team will focus on building capabilities that enhance the Elastic Defend management experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement features that enhance the Elastic Defend user interface capabilities.
• Contribute to the architecture of Elastic Defend management and response actions framework.
• Develop scalable, high-performance systems within the Elastic ecosystem.
• Write production-grade code in Typescript/Node JS and potentially other languages.
• Collaborate with cross-team efforts among other Elastic engineering teams.
• Assist in improving engineering standards, tooling, and team processes driven by AI usage.
• Participate in code reviews.
• Work with a globally distributed team focused on delivering Elastic Defend and OSquery capabilities.
• Collaborate on large product features.
• Utilize AI to enhance development work.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of Node JS and React JS; Typescript is a plus.
• Ability to leverage AI for problem comprehension and solution development.
• Curiosity and engagement in team meetings.
• Comfortable with collaborative development and providing feedback.
• Proactive mindset and initiative in seeking improvements.
