Software Engineer II - Full Stack - Web Engineering @Elastic

Overview

Elastic, the Search AI Company, enables organizations to realize the potential of their data at scale. The Software Engineer II on the Web Engineering team will develop features, systems, and infrastructure that ensure the company’s website is fast, reliable, and effective.

Key Responsibilities

• Own features across the full stack from component design and backend services to deployment pipelines and production code.
• Instrument client-side performance and backend performance analytics.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to build, test, and release website features.
• Write clean, maintainable code with ownership in production.
• Triage, investigate, and resolve security vulnerabilities.
• Participate in code reviews.
• Diagnose and resolve production issues while participating in an on-call rotation.

Requirements

• 3+ years in a full-stack or frontend role with proven TypeScript and React experience.
• Production experience with Node.js, Python, or Go.
• End-to-end ownership of CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with AI to accelerate development and optimize code.
• Ability to work autonomously in a globally distributed team.
