Overview

Grafana Labs is a remote company behind Grafana Cloud, an observability platform utilized by over 10,000 organizations. The role of Senior Solutions Engineer involves being a customer-facing product expert, educating customers and helping close opportunities with Grafana's technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with the Sales team to articulate Grafana's value proposition to customers.
• Own the technical engagement with customers and help close complex opportunities.
• Deliver product and technical presentations to potential and existing customers.
• Provide feedback on products and the competitive landscape.
• Drive product conversations based on customer needs.
• Enhance documentation, write blog posts, record videos, and contribute to enablement materials.

Requirements

• Located in Tokyo, Japan.
• 5+ years of technical pre-sales experience, ideally with Open Source technologies.
• Strong judgment, collaboration, and leadership skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to articulate the value proposition and technical advantages of products.
• Technical mindset and a desire for growth.
• Experience with sales methodologies like MEDD(P)ICC is a plus.
