Overview

Affirm is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Program Manager to oversee high visibility planning programs and streamline processes for delivering customer and merchant products. This role is part of a versatile Technical Program Management team that operates at the intersection of strategy, product, and engineering execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive complex transformation and operational programs to deliver financial products that improve lives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align on strategy, priorities, and key decisions.
• Implement lean processes to enhance team effectiveness and promote continuous iteration and improvement.
• Establish data-driven operational frameworks to assess portfolio performance and facilitate investment decisions.
• Develop communication strategies for seamless information flow across the organization.
• Plan change requirements, identify risks, manage dependencies, and promote clarity and efficiency.
• Address systemic inefficiencies and promote accountability within the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 8 years of experience in managing programs and change management in a technology environment.
• Strong technical background with an understanding of software development processes.
• Organized and strategic in collaborating across multi-disciplinary teams.
• Attention to detail with the ability to make trade-off decisions.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with cross-functional teams.
• Track record of implementing frameworks at scale in a remote friendly culture.
• Excellent communication and consulting skills.
• Passion for improving consumer finance; prior experience in FinTech is a plus.
