Software Engineer, Full Stack @Pendo

Overview

Pendo is looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer to help build and enhance their product offerings that enable customers to understand how their software's agents behave.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver full-stack features end-to-end across Go services and Vue interfaces.
• Build customer install and instrumentation experiences for agentic systems.
• Capture and visualize agent behavior for customers.
• Develop LLM-backed features involving prompt and context design and tool calling.
• Ship code in small increments, managing production risks effectively.
• Take ownership of shipped production code through logging and monitoring practices.
• Integrate AI tools into the development workflow responsibly.
• Provide code reviews, documentation, and estimates for project tasks.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience shipping full-stack features in a SaaS environment.
• Proficiency in at least one backend language (Go, Java, Python, C++) and one modern frontend framework (Vue, React, Angular).
• Experience designing APIs and building services on AWS or GCP with SQL databases.
• Hands-on experience working with LLMs.
• Ability to write tests based on risk and use safe rollout patterns.
• Strong written communication skills with a BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
