Overview

The role involves working as a Software Engineer on the Security EDR Workflows team at Elastic, focusing on building core capabilities for the Elastic Defend management experience. Key Responsibilities

• Implement features that enhance the Elastic Defend user interface.
• Contribute to the architecture of the Elastic Defend management and response framework.
• Develop scalable, high-performance systems within the Elastic ecosystem.
• Write production-grade code in Typescript/Node JS and participate in code reviews.
• Collaborate with other engineering teams on cross-team efforts.
• Drive improvements in engineering standards, tooling, and processes.
• Work with a globally distributed team to deliver Elastic Defend and OSquery capabilities.
• Use AI to enhance development work.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of Node JS and React JS; Typescript is a plus.
• Ability to leverage AI for problem comprehension and solutions.

• Initiative-taking attitude to seek improvements in product and engineering processes.
