Overview

The role involves working as a Software Engineer on the Security EDR Workflows team at Elastic. The team focuses on building capabilities for the Elastic Defend management experience and enhancing security products through collaboration and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement features for Elastic Defend user interface capabilities.
• Contribute to the architecture of Elastic Defend management and response actions framework along with OSquery forensics capabilities.
• Develop scalable, high-performance systems within the Elastic ecosystem.
• Write production-grade code in Typescript/Node JS, ensuring high-quality and well-tested codebase.
• Collaborate with other engineering teams on cross-team projects.
• Participate in code reviews.
• Engage in team meetings and contribute to engineering standards and tooling improvements.
• Use AI to enhance development work.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of Node JS and React JS; Typescript is a plus.
• Ability to leverage AI for understanding and solving complex problems.
