Overview
The role of Software Engineer II on the Security EDR Workflows team involves building core capabilities for the Elastic Defend management experience. The focus is to deliver policy configuration and management, response actions, and forensics capabilities, enhancing user experience and protecting against security threats.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement features for Elastic Defend user interface capabilities.
- Contribute to the architecture of Elastic Defend management and response actions framework.
- Develop scalable and high-performance systems within the Elastic ecosystem.
- Write production-grade code in Typescript/Node JS.
- Collaborate with other engineering teams on cross-team efforts.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering standards and tooling improvements.
- Collaborate with a globally distributed team on large product features.
- Utilize AI to enhance development work.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of Node JS and React JS; Typescript is a plus.
- Ability to leverage AI for problem comprehension and solution ramp-up.
- Curiosity and willingness to engage in team meetings.
- Comfortable with collaborative development and feedback processes.
- Proactive mindset, seeking improvements in product and engineering processes.
