Software Engineer II - Full Stack - Web Engineering @Elastic

Overview

Elastic, the Search AI Company, is looking for a Software Engineer II on the Web Engineering team. The role involves building features, systems, and infrastructure to enhance the performance and reliability of their website.

Key Responsibilities

• Own features across the full stack, including component design, backend services, and deployment pipelines.
• Instrument client-side performance and backend logging, metrics, and alerting.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and developers to build and release features.
• Write clean, maintainable code and own its behavior in production.
• Triage and resolve security vulnerability reports.
• Participate in code reviews and diagnose production issues.
• Engage in an on-call rotation for service maintenance.

Requirements

• 3+ years in a full-stack or frontend role with strong skills in TypeScript and React.
• Production experience with Node.js, Python, or Go.
• Experience owning CI/CD pipelines, including deployment automation.
• Ability to build for high availability, scalability, and security.
• Autonomous work capability in a globally distributed team.
