Databricks is seeking a Sr. Solutions Architect for Global Telecommunications. This remote position focuses on leveraging technical expertise to drive consumption strategy and build executive relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive technical and consumption strategy for complex customer engagements, influencing platform adoption and revenue growth.
• Own senior-level technical relationships, serving as a trusted advisor on enterprise data and AI strategy.
• Lead architecture engagements: multi-workload platforms, enterprise-wide migrations, real-time systems, and AI/ML at scale.
• Mentor junior Solutions Architects on technical depth and customer engagement.
• Develop competitive strategies positioning Databricks against incumbent platforms.
• Orchestrate cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-grade solutions.
• Contribute to thought leadership through customer-facing content and community engagement.

Requirements

• 8+ years in solutions architecture or a senior customer-facing technical role.
• Expert-level coding proficiency in Python, SQL, and ideally Spark/PySpark.
• Deep expertise in enterprise data architecture and cloud-native platforms.
• Strong knowledge of the Databricks Platform or equivalent with demonstrated rapid learning ability.
• Proven track record of driving consumption growth in large accounts.
• Executive presence with the ability to influence C-level stakeholders.
• Ability to travel to customers 30% of the time.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a quantitative discipline.
