Overview

Pendo’s Professional Services team is part of the Strategy & Transformation organization, helping customers transform their operations through technical and strategic consulting. The Sr. Professional Services Engineer Consultant will own the design and delivery of complex technical engagements, working at the intersection of product, data, and engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and scope engagements with Account Directors and Customer Engineers, leading conversations with customer stakeholders.
• Design and build technical solutions including custom integrations, APIs, and data pipelines.
• Own multiple complex technical projects, leading execution and ensuring alignment with customer outcomes.
• Advise on data architecture and long-term technical strategies.
• Build reusable code libraries and mentor consultants on technical problem-solving.
• Identify patterns across engagements to create playbooks and share insights with product and cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• 7+ years in a customer-facing technical role within B2B SaaS, with experience in writing custom code and building integrations.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Python, or Node.js; ability to write production-quality backend code.
• Deep experience with APIs, data pipelines, integration patterns, ETL processes, and data modeling.
• SQL proficiency and strong data modeling expertise.
• Experience with REST APIs, webhooks, and event-driven architectures.
• Ability to translate complex data concepts into business value.
• Experience leading technical transformations and data infrastructure projects.
