Sr. Professional Services Engineer Consultant @Pendo

Overview

Pendo’s Professional Services team is part of the broader Strategy & Transformation organization. The team helps customers transform how they operate through technical and strategic consulting, spanning complex technical engagements such as system migrations, integrations, and data work.

Key Responsibilities

• Engagement design and scoping: Partner with Account Directors and Customer Engineers to qualify Professional Services opportunities and distinguish transformation gaps from tooling gaps.
• Custom integrations and data solutions: Design and build technical solutions that extend Pendo’s capabilities and integrate with customer systems.
• Technical project delivery: Own multiple complex technical projects end-to-end, providing technical leadership and ensuring delivery aligns to customer outcomes.
• Data and architecture consulting: Advise customers on data architecture, integration patterns, and long-term technical strategy.
• Enablement and reusability: Build reusable code libraries, frameworks, and integration patterns to scale across the Professional Services team.
• Practice impact and field intelligence: Identify patterns across engagements and share field intelligence to enhance product support and customer transformation.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role within B2B SaaS, with hands-on experience writing custom code and building integrations.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Python, or Node.js, with the ability to write production-quality backend code.
• Deep experience with APIs, data pipelines, integration patterns, ETL processes, and data modeling.
• SQL proficiency and strong data modeling expertise.
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex data concepts into business value for technical and business stakeholders.
• Experience leading technical transformation initiatives and data infrastructure projects.
