Sr. Solutions Engineer - Digital Native Business, Named Accounts @Databricks

Overview

The Sr. Solutions Engineer on the Digital Native Business team at Databricks will work collaboratively with customers and product teams to develop architectures and solutions using the Databricks platform and APIs, while providing technical leadership and guidance.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with the sales team to assist customers in understanding how Databricks can address their business challenges.
• Consult on Big Data architectures, implement proof of concepts for strategic projects, and validate integrations with various cloud services and applications.
• Support fellow Solutions Architects and contribute to Databricks-inspired open-source projects.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in data engineering, data science, technical architecture, or similar roles.
• Experience in building distributed data systems.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL programming.
• Experience with public cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Expertise in Data Engineering or Data Science and Machine Learning technologies.
• Willingness to travel to customers in your region.
• [Desired] Degree in a quantitative discipline.
• Nice to have: Databricks Certification.
