Overview

The SC Supervisor will lead the Stabilization Center (SC) / Therapeutic Feeding Unit (TFU) under the CMAM program, ensuring effective treatment of children with complicated Severe Acute Malnutrition (SAM).

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose and manage complicated SAM cases
Ensure adherence to national and World Health Organization guidelines
Supervise therapeutic feeding and medical treatment
Monitor patient progress, admission, and discharge criteria
Support referrals between OTP and SC
Lead and supervise SC staff and nutrition teams
Build capacity of health workers and volunteers
Coordinate with LGA health teams and partners
Ensure proper documentation and reporting
Manage stock of drugs, nutrition supplies, and equipment
Prepare weekly and monthly reports
Ensure accurate data collection and analysis
Plan logistics and operational needs

Requirements

MBBS / MBChB (Medicine & Surgery)
Minimum 3+ years experience in:
- CMAM programs
- Stabilization Center (SC) management
- Complicated SAM case management
Valid practicing license
Strong reporting and computer skills
Fluency in English & Hausa (Kanuri is an advantage)
