Overview

This position at Twilio is for a Staff, Analytics Engineer in the GTM Data Science & Analytics team. The role aims to enhance the quality and strategic value of Twilio’s data, focusing on sales analytics, reporting, and data science capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement a formal business data layer in dbt for centralized GTM metrics.
• Collaborate with GTM Operations and Finance to define and document key business metrics and data definitions.
• Develop automated data reconciliation and quality checks to maintain report accuracy.
• Mentor team members on best practices regarding data modeling and code review.
• Investigate complex data anomalies and communicate findings effectively.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of experience in analytics engineering or related fields, preferably in a SaaS environment.
• Advanced expertise in SQL and experience with dbt for data models and pipelines.
• Ability to document and reconcile critical business metrics with stakeholders.
• Experience with data quality frameworks and dbt testing.
• Strong communication and mentorship skills.
