Staff Product Manager - dbt v2 @Fivetran

Overview

Fivetran and dbt Labs are seeking a Product Manager to lead the dbt v2 roadmap, playing a vital role in driving product-led growth. This position involves delivering new functionalities within the dbt platform, enhancing customer data interaction and integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and deliver the dbt v2 roadmap, implementing features such as SQL comprehension, compute, governance, and SAO.
• Define requirements for Fusion features that integrate with the dbt platform.
• Ensure alignment and execution within the Fusion engineering team.
• Contribute to dbt Core / Fusion codebases, including code reviews and feature implementations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver a unified roadmap.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product management experience in technical domains such as developer tooling or open source software.
• Strong understanding of system architectures and local deployments.
• Ability to bridge technical delivery with business impact.
• Experience working with engineering teams on complex technical features.
• Strong communication skills with empathy for open source contributors and enterprise users.
