Staff Product Manager, Developer Experience @Fivetran

Overview

The Staff Product Manager for Developer Experience will own the end-to-end developer workflow in dbt Cloud, focusing on enhancing the user experience for various developer tools and AI-assisted development.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the developer experience roadmap across Studio IDE, Developer Agent, Cloud CLI, and the VS Code Extension.
• Partner with the Fusion team to align on capabilities and ensure developer needs are represented.
• Lead development of AI-native products for Developer Agent, focusing on workflows and context-aware suggestions.
• Drive tooling strategy informed by modern development environments.
• Execute cross-functional collaboration to ship high-quality developer experiences.
• Build feedback loops with the dbt community to enhance developer tools.
• Conduct market and user research for developer tooling and AI-assisted development.
• Align developer experience investments to company goals and strategies.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product management experience, particularly in developer tools.
• Experience managing IDE or developer environment products.
• Engagement with AI-powered development tools.
• Strong technical foundation for effective collaboration with engineering teams.
• Experience in conducting user research and translating feedback into product work.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfort working asynchronously as part of a distributed team.
