Overview

Brex is the intelligent finance platform focused on enabling companies to spend smarter and streamline operations. The Support Specialist I will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer support for Brex's products, working remotely from Vancouver.

Key Responsibilities

• Effectively resolve customer inquiries in a considerate and timely manner via email, phone, and chat.
• Become an expert in Brex’s suite of products to solve complex issues.
• Compose thoughtful, personalized responses for a variety of customer requests.
• Triage incoming requests and identify trends in customer issues.
• Provide customer feedback to internal teams to enhance product and support experience.
• Contribute to team goals and successes.
• Share knowledge through mentorship, collaboration, and documentation efforts.

Requirements

• Location within the greater Vancouver, BC area.
• Flexibility to work within Support team's hours of operation (5am - 8pm PT, weekdays and weekends).
• Passionate about customer support and its role in a customer-centric team.
• Ability to communicate technical problems clearly and tactfully.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Empathy, diplomacy, and poise under pressure.
• Enthusiasm for using AI tools in a customer support environment.

Benefits

Compensation is expected to range from $23.00 CAD - $25.00 CAD per hour, depending on various factors such as skills and experience. Overtime pay is provided for hours exceeding the standard workweek. Potential for equity and other forms of compensation as part of the total package.

Location

Fully remote, with some in-person training required in the Vancouver office.
