Overview
Swipe Out Hunger is seeking a Resource & Grants Coordinator to manage their Swipe grants and in-kind programming. This is a full-time, exempt remote position.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the development team to secure funding and in-kind resources.
- Manage the grant application process, including guidelines and documentation.
- Support the creation of equitable grant distribution plans aligned with organizational goals.
- Review and evaluate grant proposals for alignment, compliance, and impact.
- Use data and evaluation to refine grant offerings.
- Generate reports for external stakeholders and partners.
- Oversee in-kind resource management, tracking, and support requests.
- Lead the annual Swipe grantees’ affinity group.
- Maintain and update data related to food insecurity and hunger relief efforts.
- Provide research and guidance to institutions with Hunger-Free Campus grants.
- Serve as the liaison for hunger-related research and data between Programs and Advocacy.
- Develop tools to measure the reach and impact of donations.
- Support campus partners through meetings, onboarding, and collaboration.
- Facilitate engagement with stakeholders, troubleshoot challenges, and provide strategic resources.
- Share resources via Slack and other platforms to maximize partner access.
- Assist with content creation for programs and campaigns.
- Represent Swipe Out Hunger at meetings and events.
- Maintain documentation to support cross-department collaboration.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in hunger relief, poverty solutions, fundraising, or nonprofit programs.
- Strong project and database coordination skills with a high level of organization.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including staff, students, funders, and campus networks.
- Commitment to equity and organizational mission.
- Discretion and sound judgment in external communications.
