Overview
Textile Exchange is hiring for multiple remote positions to drive beneficial impact on climate change across the fashion and textile industry. They aim to guide the industry to achieve a 45% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions within fiber and raw material production.
Key Responsibilities
Development Strategist:
- Design and execute fundraising strategies for Climate and Nature Impact activities.
- Secure philanthropic grants, donations, and corporate sponsorships.
- Cultivate and steward relationships with donors and foundations.
- Develop compelling grant proposals and impact reports.
Assurance and Traceability Senior Director:
- Strengthen assurance and traceability models across the standards system.
- Oversee certification body management and monitoring.
- Lead traceability and supply chain data systems.
- Represent Textile Exchange with certification bodies and strategic partners.
Cotton and Crops Lead (Maternity Cover):
- Ensure continuity in cotton and crops engagement work.
- Maintain trusted stakeholder relationships and support sector-wide progress.
- Provide day-to-day leadership to the Cotton team.
- Contribute to round tables and cross-fiber engagement initiatives.
Requirements
Development Strategist:
- 5–7 years’ experience in fundraising or donor relations.
- Proven track record securing major gifts and grants.
- Strong communication, storytelling, and project management skills.
- Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
- Commitment to climate, biodiversity, and equitable systems change.
Assurance and Traceability Senior Director:
- 10+ years’ experience in sustainability standards and certification schemes.
- Deep expertise in assurance models, chain of custody, and traceability systems.
- Experience leading complex systems in global contexts.
- Strong communication and strategic leadership capability.
Cotton and Crops Lead (Maternity Cover):
- 5+ years’ senior-level experience in sustainability, cotton farming, or agriculture.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and team leadership experience.
- Knowledge of cotton production systems and sustainable sourcing practices.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
