Overview

The African Fine Coffees Association (AFCA) is seeking a Program Officer to support the coordination of the EUDR Learning Community for Africa, a multi-stakeholder platform focused on navigating the EU Deforestation Regulation and strengthening sustainable coffee supply chains.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinating multi-stakeholder initiatives and facilitating collaboration.
Organizing workshops, webinars, and peer learning sessions.
Supporting knowledge management, including documentation, reporting, and dissemination of insights.
Maintaining relationships with partners, producers, and stakeholders.
Monitoring project progress and contributing to strategic planning and evaluation.

Requirements

Experience in coordinating multi-stakeholder platforms.
Strong interest or experience in sustainability, traceability, and value chain development, particularly in coffee or agriculture.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work remotely and independently, preferably based in Africa.
Familiarity with EU regulations, environmental compliance, or sustainable sourcing is an advantage.

Benefits

Contract Duration: 12 months, renewable based on performance and funding.

Remote (Africa-based preferred)
