Overview
The Southeast Sustainability Directors Network (SSDN) is hiring a remote Operations & Program Support Manager to ensure the organization operates smoothly and effectively supports its mission-driven programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and improve internal systems and processes for remote work, including document management and administrative workflows.
- Coordinate calendars, meetings, webinars, and events, providing technical support as needed.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state requirements, track deadlines, and manage organizational obligations.
- Support SSDN's programs, particularly the Environmental Finance Center, with logistical and administrative tasks.
- Maintain and support the organization's CRM database (Salesforce) and virtual resource library.
- Assist with budgeting, invoicing, and financial management, including grant and contract support.
- Facilitate staff onboarding and offboarding, and promote an inclusive remote work environment.
- Support leadership and board meetings, and coordinate internal team workflows.
Requirements
- Exceptional organization and project management skills with high attention to detail.
- Experience in systems thinking, designing, implementing, and refining operational workflows.
- Proactive problem-solving abilities and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Slack, Asana, Salesforce, and video conferencing platforms.
- Familiarity with data tools (Airtable, GIS) and CRM systems.
- Proven ability to thrive independently in a remote setting, manage shifting priorities, and foster team cohesion virtually.
- Skilled in relationship building, coordinating across teams, and fostering an inclusive culture.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with nonprofit or government organizations, knowledge of sustainability programs, familiarity with grant management, and experience supporting virtual events.
