The University of Glasgow is seeking a Research Associate for a full-time, fixed-term role supporting the project “Towards the University of the Future.”

Key Responsibilities

Contribute to the design and delivery of research activities.
Apply expertise in interdisciplinary studies, research cultures, and higher education futures.
Use creative and participatory research methods.
Support the formulation and submission of research publications and proposals.
Assist in managing and directing aspects of the project.

Requirements

PhD (or equivalent professional qualifications and experience) in Education, Interdisciplinary Studies, Social Sciences, Organisational Studies, Science and Technology Studies, or related disciplines. Must have emerging independence in research, expertise in organizational change, interdisciplinary collaboration, and futures-focused research, and experience with participatory and creative research methods.

Benefits

Salary: £41,064 – £46,049 per annum. Contract duration until 31 July 2028.
