    Overview

    UNDP is offering internship positions in Inclusive Growth, with two international remote roles and one local in-person role.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Conduct research on Blue Economy value chains and trade-climate linkages.
    • Support the preparation of high-level briefing notes for Africa Blue Economy Week 2026.
    • Assist in stakeholder mapping and coordination efforts.
    • Draft communication products promoting climate-resilient Blue Economy pathways.
    • Support operationalization of the Continental Development Plans Register.
    • Prepare analytical briefs, dashboards, and structured reports.
    • Contribute to creating a Regional Value Chains Toolkit aligned with AfCFTA.
    • Engage with stakeholders and draft technical notes on regional production systems.
    • Attend team meetings and support administrative processes.

    Requirements

    • Enrolled in or recent graduate of a postgraduate or bachelor’s degree in Economics, Public Policy, Development Studies, or related fields.
    • Basic understanding of SDGs, UN system, and development issues.
    • Proficiency in MS Office.
    • Good drafting and communication skills.
    • Knowledge of French is desirable for international candidates.
