Overview

The William A. Zoghbi Global Research Initiative supports early-stage and mid-career investigators conducting innovative research aimed at improving cardiovascular health outcomes globally.

Eligibility

• Cardiovascular clinical investigators residing outside the United States, preferably from low- and middle-income countries.
• Must be affiliated as either ACC International Fellows, ACC International Associates, or individuals who have completed the ACC Certified Cardiovascular Knowledge Examination (CCKE).
• Approximately five to ten years of post-training clinical research experience preferred.
• Must maintain active membership within the ACC at the time of award acceptance.

Benefits

Funding for one-year research projects, with a total of seven awards valued at $25,000 each.

• Two letters of recommendation
• Summary of current and previous research funding
