    Role Overview

    The IT Manager will be responsible for overseeing the company’s entire IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and alignment with business objectives. Candidates who have worked in Abuja-based organizations are especially encouraged to apply.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead and manage IT operations, infrastructure, and support services across the organization’s Abuja location.
    • Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with business goals in the Abuja office.
    • Oversee network administration, cybersecurity, and system performance at the Abuja facility.
    • Manage enterprise systems including Microsoft Dynamics 365, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and Azure services, all within the company’s Abuja footprint.
    • Ensure effective backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning relevant to Abuja operations.
    • Supervise IT teams and provide leadership, mentorship, and performance management across Abuja departments.
    • Manage IT vendors, service providers, and technology partners serving the Abuja base.
    • Plan and execute IT projects in Abuja, including system upgrades and digital transformation initiatives.
    • Ensure compliance with IT policies, standards, and security protocols specific to Abuja’s regulatory requirements.
    • Monitor and optimize IT budgets, resources, and operational efficiency, particularly for Abuja’s unique needs.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc.) in Information Technology or related field, preferably with experience within Abuja.
    • A Master’s Degree in IT or a related discipline is required for consideration in Abuja-based leadership roles.
    • Strong technical background with proven leadership experience in environments like Abuja.

    Requirements

    • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in IT management, operations, or support leadership roles (Team Lead, Manager, or Director level), with time spent in Abuja being an advantage.
    • Professional certifications such as Cisco CCNA (or equivalent), Microsoft certifications (MCSA, AZ-900, AZ-801), and cybersecurity certifications are highly desirable for roles in Abuja tech companies.
    • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, and system administration, with experience in Abuja beneficial.
    • Practical experience with Microsoft technologies including Dynamics 365 F&O, Microsoft 365, Azure, and endpoint security tools as used in Abuja’s business environment.
    • Experience managing IT projects, vendors, and cross-functional digital transformation initiatives for Abuja-based organizations is a plus.
    • Deep understanding of cybersecurity, backup systems, and disaster recovery planning for enterprises in Abuja is preferred.
