    Overview

    Whitley Fund for Nature is seeking passionate professionals to fill two key roles: Deputy Director and Head of Communications, contributing to impactful environmental initiatives.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Supporting the implementation of organizational strategies and policies
    • Overseeing program delivery and operational effectiveness
    • Building and maintaining relationships with partners and stakeholders
    • Contributing to fundraising and advocacy efforts
    • Developing and executing an annual communications strategy aligned with PR and fundraising goals
    • Leading impactful campaigns via email, social media, website, and events
    • Acting as webmaster and brand guardian, ensuring consistent messaging
    • Managing communications around the Whitley Awards, including digital campaigns and event publicity

    Requirements

    • Proven leadership experience in a nonprofit or NGO setting
    • Strong strategic planning and operational skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
    • Experience in managing teams and projects
    • Passion for wildlife conservation and environmental issues
    • Strategic thinker with a creative mindset, proven experience in charity or NGO communications roles
    • Strong expertise in digital tools such as email marketing and social media
    • Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills
    • Skilled in project management and stakeholder engagement

    Benefits

    Salary for both roles is £40,000.

    Location

    Hybrid (3 days in the office, based in West London)
