Twilio is a remote-first company shaping the future of communications. The role of Account Executive - New Business involves prospecting, solution selling, and closing new business opportunities across the Twilio platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Acquisition of new customers across the Twilio portfolio with a quota for incremental Account Contract Value (iACV).
- Manage analytical and consultative sales cycles to transition from transactional vendor relationships to strategic partnerships.
- Develop trusted relationships at all levels within Enterprise accounts, particularly with C-Suite executives.
- Collaborate with Product Specialists, Value Engineering, and Enterprise Strategists on complex deals.
- Work with Finance, Legal, Pricing, and Operations to create mutually beneficial contracts.
- Manage multiple projects and deals while maintaining high performance under shifting priorities.
- Partner with various internal teams to develop long-range territory strategies and sales plans.
- Serve as the voice of customers to Twilio’s product and carrier relations teams.
- Establish expertise in the unified communications industry and vertical industries of focus.
- Maintain an accurate sales pipeline utilizing Salesforce CRM.
Requirements
- 12 years of full cycle sales experience with at least 5 years in analytical products or solutions.
- Experience selling technical SaaS or CPaaS or Data platforms.
- Proven outbound prospecting experience with a focus on building total account relationships.
- Capability to influence both technical and business leaders regarding integrated data and AI.
- Strong analytical skills to drive account development strategy.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and a record of delivering results to scale and enterprise clients.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
