Account Manager @Render

Overview

Render is seeking an Account Manager to build and nurture relationships with its fastest growing and highest potential customers. The role focuses on evolving a self-service solution into a proactive business partnership, demonstrating Render's long-term value and supporting customers in achieving their business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage approximately 300 commercial accounts using a programmatic engagement model to deliver consistent value.
• Build and run scalable programs that drive adoption and expansion, including onboarding journeys and product education.
• Proactively share best practices and technical guidance in partnership with Customer Engineers.
• Identify accounts for targeted interventions to mitigate churn risks.
• Execute contracting motions, including renewals and standard commercial expansions.
• Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Support to surface customer insights for program and product improvements.
• Track and report on program performance, including adoption, retention, and expansion.
• Represent Render with authenticity and technical credibility in customer interactions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing role such as Account Management or Customer Success, preferably in cloud infrastructure or developer tooling.
• Demonstrated commercial mindset with success in managing renewals and identifying expansion opportunities.
• Familiarity with analytics to identify customer health risks.
• Strategic thinking skills connecting technical challenges with business goals.
• Ability to build rapport with stakeholders from engineers to C-level executives.
• Experience in product-led growth environments.
• Strong adaptability to shape new functions and processes.
• Genuine passion for helping developers and engineering teams succeed.
