Account Manager, SMB @Hiya

Overview

Hiya is focused on making business calls more trusted and effective. The Account Manager, SMB role is integral to maintaining and growing the company's SMB customer base across the UK and Europe.

Key Responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of over 300 SMB accounts across the UK and Europe.
• Deliver agreed renewal, expansion, and net-revenue-retention targets.
• Prioritize the portfolio according to revenue, renewal timing, risk, and growth potential.
• Engage proactively with at-risk accounts to resolve issues that could lead to churn.
• Lead renewal, pricing, and commercial negotiation discussions.
• Identify expansion signals and convert them into upsell and cross-sell revenue.
• Forecast portfolio performance and maintain accurate CRM records.
• Work collaboratively with Sales, Product, Support, and Finance teams.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in Account Management, renewals, inside sales, or a similar customer-focused role.
• Proven track record of owning measurable outcomes such as revenue and retention.
• Experience managing a high volume of customers or competing priorities.
• Confidence in conducting renewal, pricing, and negotiation conversations.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize effectively.
• Clear and professional communication with customers and stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Experience maintaining information in a CRM system.

Location

This is a Hybrid role based in London, United Kingdom, with travel up to 25%.
