Account Manager @Render

Overview

Render is seeking an Account Manager to build and nurture relationships with high-growth customers. The role focuses on transitioning from a self-service solution to a proactive business partnership, ensuring long-term value and customer success.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a large portfolio of approximately 300 commercial accounts, delivering consistent value through proactive outreach.
• Develop and implement scalable programs for customer adoption and expansion.
• Share best practices and technical guidance to support customer success.
• Identify and prioritize accounts for targeted interventions based on product usage data.
• Oversee contracting processes, including renewals and expansions, collaborating with Sales and Legal departments.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to influence programs and product improvements based on customer insights.
• Track and report on program performance metrics, iterating based on results.
• Represent Render with authenticity and technical credibility in customer interactions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in cloud infrastructure or developer tooling.
• Commercial mindset with experience managing renewals and identifying expansion opportunities.
• Familiarity with using product usage data to assess customer health.
• Strategic thinker capable of connecting technical challenges to business goals.
• Strong relationship-building skills with various stakeholders.
• Experience in product-led growth environments.
• Ability to thrive in ambiguity and shape new functions.
• Empathy and passion for helping developers succeed.
