Overview
The role involves working as an Accounts Receivable Analyst focusing on Order-to-Cash and revenue cycle management for a company in the healthcare sector. This position is responsible for managing assigned customer accounts through various stages such as invoicing, collections, and reconciliations.
Key Responsibilities
- Own assigned customer accounts throughout the Order-to-Cash lifecycle, from invoice creation and delivery to collection and payment application.
- Prepare and process customer invoices accurately and within established deadlines.
- Review invoices and supporting documentation for completeness and compliance with customer-specific billing requirements.
- Submit invoices through the appropriate customer portals and monitor submissions for acceptance.
- Review aging reports and perform consistent follow-up on outstanding balances.
- Communicate directly with customers to obtain payment status and resolve disputes.
- Maintain clear collection notes and escalate unresolved balances proactively.
- Apply cash receipts accurately and conduct detailed customer account reconciliations.
- Identify recurring problems and recommend improvements to the Order-to-Cash processes.
- Create and maintain clear process documentation and support period-end close activities.
- Balance routine responsibilities with time-sensitive research and exception handling in a high-volume environment.
Requirements
- Experience in Order-to-Cash, Accounts Receivable, or a related finance operations role.
- Experience with invoicing, collections, cash application, and account reconciliations.
- Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUP and analyzing large data sets.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned accounts.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with NetSuite and Salesforce preferred.
- Professional communication skills to work effectively with customers and internal teams.
