AI Solutions Lead, Marketing @Instacart

Overview

This role at Instacart involves leading AI solutions in the Marketing team, focusing on transforming workflows and processes to enhance efficiency through AI. The position is remote and specifically available for candidates located in Ontario, Alberta, British Columbia, or Nova Scotia.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and rebuild high-impact workflows and processes across Marketing that are slow or manual into AI-native solutions.
• Manage the full cycle: understand the current state, design, build and measure the effectiveness of solutions.
• Develop and maintain an intake framework for evaluating and prioritizing builds based on feasibility and impact.
• Drive adoption of solutions through change management strategies and internal evangelism.
• Lead the MarComms AI KR forum, fostering collaboration and momentum among AI goal owners.

Requirements

• 7+ years in marketing operations, strategy, or a closely related discipline.
• Proven experience in building AI-powered workflows that demonstrably improve team efficiency.
• Hands-on experience with frontier AI tools like Claude, GPT-4, or Gemini.
• Experience designing agentic systems where AI components interact independently.
• Strong communication abilities to effectively present project goals and progress to various stakeholders.
• Prioritization skills to assess and filter requests based on their suitability for AI solutions.

Benefits

Instacart offers highly competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package, including a new hire equity grant and annual refresh grants. The compensation range for this role is CAD 126,000 to CAD 133,000, based on location and experience.
