Analytics Engineer II, Full Stack (Revenue Analytics) @Affirm

Overview

Affirm is seeking a curious and driven professional to join their Revenue Analytics team as an Analytics Engineer II. This role involves building and owning data products, reporting infrastructure, semantic foundations, and analytical systems that support Affirm’s Revenue organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop dbt data models, dashboards, metrics, and automation processes for the revenue field team and revenue analysts.
• Build and maintain critical reporting data models that power external merchant reporting.
• Build the semantic, metadata, and context layers for AI systems to understand Revenue data and business definitions.
• Collaborate with Business Systems, engineering, and stakeholders to translate requirements into reliable data products.
• Contribute to best practices in version control, code review, documentation, and release hygiene using GitHub.
• Develop processes and governance to scale the impact of analytics within Revenue.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in an analytics engineering or business intelligence role.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, dbt, Python, data modeling, and data visualization.
• Experience with BI tools (Sigma/Looker/Tableau), Databricks, and cloud data warehouses (Snowflake).
• Understanding of data foundations for reliable AI.
• Experience integrating AI tools into analytics workflows to enhance speed and quality.
• Familiarity with Salesforce and experience supporting commercial business areas.
• Ability to translate user needs into scalable data products.
• Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
