Overview
Behaviour Supervisor – MSF Nigeria. Responsible for supervising and monitoring safeguarding activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor safeguarding and prevention activities.
- Implement MSF Behavioural Commitments and safeguarding minimum standards.
- Manage safeguarding/behavior officers or focal points at the project level.
- Promote a safe environment for staff, patients, and communities.
- Engage with management to determine safeguarding needs.
- Collaborate on embedding safeguarding standards in contractual frameworks.
- Design and implement safeguarding strategies.
- Conduct awareness sessions for staff and the community.
- Produce monthly reports evaluating safeguarding activities.
- Directly implement safeguarding activities in the Gwoza project.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science, Law, Education, or Social Communication.
- Minimum 2 years in safeguarding within an international organization.
- Humanitarian field experience is an asset.
- People management and development skills.
- Strong commitment to MSF principles.
- English essential; local language knowledge desirable.
