Brex is an intelligent finance platform enabling companies to spend smarter and move faster in over 200 markets. The Business Development Director role focuses on driving growth for Brex’s Embedded Finance platform through partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and source new partners while expanding existing relationships.
• Develop strategies for partner acquisition and expansion.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Legal, Finance, Sales, and Marketing teams to launch integrations.
• Navigate ambiguity and make actionable decisions in new opportunity areas.
• Transition activated partnerships to scaled execution and performance tracking.
• Drive Brex’s growth into strategic customer segments through targeted partnerships.
• Represent ownership across strategy, documentation, integration execution, and impact.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, product partnerships, or enterprise sales in B2B, preferably in high-growth startups.
• Proven track record of revenue responsibility and exceeding quota targets.
• Ownership of the full engagement lifecycle with accountability of results.
• High energy, creativity, and a passion for building relationships.
• Ability to manage multiple work streams in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong business acumen and self-starter drive to win.
• Up to 25% travel required.
