Overview
Fivetran is seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR) to join their Dublin office. The role focuses on accelerating pipeline generation and is suitable for individuals with at least 9 months of experience in technology sales, specifically in outbound prospecting and consultative discovery conversations.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate qualified pipeline through outbound prospecting across target accounts.
- Research accounts, industries, and personas to craft personalized outreach.
- Partner closely with Sales Directors to build account strategies and prioritize opportunities.
- Execute multi-channel outbound campaigns using phone, email, LinkedIn, and video.
- Conduct discovery conversations to uncover business challenges and technical pain points.
- Engage with data, analytics, engineering, IT, RevOps, and executive personas.
- Maintain accurate activity, contact, and opportunity data within Salesforce.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Partnerships, and Sales leadership.
- Leverage AI tools and sales technologies to improve prospecting efficiency and messaging quality.
- Consistently achieve and exceed activity, meeting generation, and pipeline targets.
Requirements
- 9+ months of experience in SaaS, cloud, infrastructure, or technology sales development.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for engaging technical and business stakeholders.
- Ability to learn and articulate technical concepts related to data, analytics, cloud, and AI infrastructure.
- Experience with outbound prospecting and multi-threaded account engagement.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously.
- Comfortable using AI tools such as ChatGPT or sales engagement platforms.
- Coachable, curious, resilient, and motivated by a high-performance sales environment.
- German speaking is a plus.
